For anyone in the market for a new timepiece on their wrist that is rocking a budget of up to $1k, there are some awesome options to be had on the Worn & Wound Store and we check out 10 of the best below:

Citizen Promaster Navihawk 40mm
The new Promaster Navihawk is built around a resized 40mm stainless steel case — a move that will open up the wearability for a new audience — all while featuring an impressive 200m of water resistance. The Navihawk’s slide-rule bezel is designed to help pilots with important mid-air calculations; coupled with its chronograph, the Navihawk is the perfect companion for the cockpit.

Laco Polar 39mm Limited Edition
Taking its popular modernized Augsburg and Aachen Type A and Type B Fliegers, Laco has added a radiant new white dial with bright metallic blue markers and luminous numerals. Inspired by arctic conditions, the Polar 39 is built for adventure in uncompromising environments. Both special edition Augsburg and Aachen are paired with riveted and stitched brown leather straps.

Tissot PR516 Powermatic 80
Fresh off the success of their hit PRX series, Tissot has reached into their extensive back catalog and pulled out the PR516. Based on the PR-516 reference worn by Roger Moore in 1973’s Live and Let Die, it is a vintage-inspired racing watch with a slightly up-sized 38mm case and 100m of water resistance. It is available here in three versions – two black dials, each with a contrasting seconds hand in red or yellow, and a rich blue dial with subtle finishing.

Venezianico Arsenale 40
The integrated bracelet steel sports watch — an icon of 1970s design — has been decidedly à la mode in recent years, thanks in no small part to the widespread acclaim of many reissued designs from the period. Venezianico has leaped into the fray with their Arsenale 40, a collection of three boldly patterned dials named after the ancient Venetian shipyard in contemporary 40mm steel cases

Paulin Neo B
The Paulin Neo is a friendly 38mm wide, 48mm lug to lug, and only 11.6mm thick. It comes in 316L stainless steel and is paired with a matching steel mesh bracelet – though other straps and bracelets are configurable. The dial is anodized aluminum, which is uncommon in watchmaking, and is manufactured in the UK. The unmistakable Paulin typography is unique to the brand and is vintage in nature without drawing any obvious inspiration.

Nivada Grenchen Chronoking Mecaquartz Interchangeable Bezel
The new Chronoking Mecaquartz Interchangeable Bezel still features a 38mm stainless steel case with no crown guards that is water resistant to 100m. Its richly textured matte black dial is accented with fierce shades of yellow and orange on its markers and hands with a rally-style minute track oozing vintage racing charm. The new interchangeable bezel system allows for near-instant swaps between the five tachymeter and five GMT bezel variants.

Seiko Prospex Speedtimer 1/100 Sec Solar Chronograph
There are four versions of the Prospex Speedtimer 1/100 Sec Solar Chronograph at launch, the SFJ001, SFJ003, SFJ005, and SFJ007. The SFJ001 is a panda dial with a silver surface and black subdials, while the SFJ003 is all black. Both are open editions with steel cases and bracelets. The SFJ005 is an anniversary limited edition paying homage to both Seiko’s and the industry’s first analog quartz chronograph, the 7A28.

Boldr Odyssey
The Odyssey features a 40mm Titanium+ case with 1200HV coating, 300m of water resistance, and a unique design, resulting in a modern dive watch yearning for travel. With an independently adjustable local hour hand, the Odyssey easily tracks home time while diving in foreign waters. Peeking beneath the partially skeletonized dial is the movement’s date disk with the full aperture located at 4 o’clock.

Terra Cielo Mare Orienteering Quota 8611
Powering the Orienteering Quota 8611 is Swiss made Sellita SW200 movement. It has a power reserve of 38 hours, beats at 28,800 bph and features 26 jewels. It’s a popular movement and is known as a workhouse within the watch community. A great choice for a watch that can face the elements, right by your side.

Autodromo Group B Series 2
Inspired by the brutal, but innovative Group B rally cars of the ’80s, the Autodromo Group B features sharp lines, hard facets, technical detailing, a combined steel and titanium construction, and contrasting colors that speak to the futurist visions of Giugiaro and Mead. For the Series 2 an integrated steel bracelet, as well as spring-bar lugs, have been added to this daring design. Featuring a slatted design, the bracelet builds off of the severe design of the case, creating a seamless line of metal around the wrist.
