This phenomenal looking steed is definitely one for the beach dweller as it’s unlike to fare too well in inner city London, for example, but if you’ve got plenty of outdoor space in which to open it up, the 1969 Haz Dune Buggy definitely looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
Born from the free-spirited 1960’s California beach scene, this first rate vehicle boasts 53 bhp, 1,500 cc VW OHV air-cooled horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine, four-speed manual transmission, front torsion bar suspension, trailing arm rear suspension, and four-wheel brakes. This extremely rare offering doesn’t have a reserve price at auction so you might just be able to snap up a bargain but we wouldn’t count on it as competition is likely to be high for sure an unusual and rare contraption as this 1969 Haz Dune Buggy. With the gavel dropping in May, you’ve got a few weeks to pool resources with your mates to try and come up with the requisite readies to make a purchase.
