Adventure out on the open road is something that appeals to a lot of us out there and the enjoyment will be ramped up significantly if you’ve got a vehicle purpose-built for hitting the road and enjoying a night under the stars. Enter this breathtakingly brilliant 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser URJ200 Heritage Edition which is going up for sale with the guys at Bring A Trailer.
The 2021 Toyota Land Cruiser URJ200 Heritage Edition has a current bid of $175k so, needless to say, you’re going to have to dig deep if you want to make this your next road-trip warrior but, if you are the lucky bidder when this digital auction ends, you will have bagged yourself a monstrous-looking machine, that’s for sure.
This is one of just 1,200 Heritage Edition examples that were made for the model year and it was acquired new by the current owner before being converted to an expedition-style camper by Maltec Leichbautechnologie in Germany. They have done an exemplary job of kitting this Toyota out with all the road trip/camping essentials and this stunning steed is finished in Blizzard Pearl over black leather upholstery. The truck is powered by a 5.7-litre V8 engine that is linked to an eight-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a Torsen limited-slip centre differential.
These glorious-looking Heritage Edition 18″ BBS forged wheels are refinished in Lorge Grey and mounted with 285/75 BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A tires. A matching spare tire is found in an exterior-accessed compartment, and a second matching spare is attached beneath the camper box. The truck was factory-equipped with Multi-Terrain Select (MTS), a Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS), and CRAWL control with off-road turn assist so it’s not going to let you down whatever terrain you come up against.
The front cabin of this adventure-ready machine boasts seating upholstered in black leather and woodgrain trim accenting the dashboard, door panels, and steering wheel. Some extra features include climate-controlled and power-adjustable front seats, driver’s position memory, adaptive cruise control, multi-zone automatic climate control, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and a 9″ touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and JBL audio.
