Let’s face it, there is no better feeling that plucking a craft beer from the cooler when heading out into the wild but we’re a technological breed nowadays and the conventional cool, with a complete lack of bells and whistles, just doesn’t cut it any more and we demand extra. We demand something like The Charcooler, which might just be the coolest, most essential piece of camping apparatus that you’ll encounter this year.
Winner of the Cold Tech Challenge by Swedish beer makers, Norrlands Guld, The Charcooler is currently undergoing funding over on Funded By Me and for those chaps with a love and technology and craft ales, you might just have your Christmas gift sorted. The Charcooler is described as off-grid cooling technology that is powered by nature and uses all manner of technological innovations well outside our understanding to keep your delicious beers chilled for the duration of your outdoor explorations.
With sufficient space for 12 beers and all sorts of cool little add-ons that you will love it for – such as USB outlets, a bottle opener, solar panels and a WiFi station – it’s hard not to be wowed by the capabilities of this super cool looking device. Take a look at a few more shots of The Charcooler below:
A really great, innovative accessory that comes with an accompanying app that keeps you up to date with how your craft beers are getting on inside this ingenious device. The Charcooler is, of course, the sort of gadgetry that we fawn over at Coolector HQ because it panders to the craft ale enthusiast and has plenty of tech spec to keep us happy too.
If you’ve liked what you’ve seen, and we don’t see how you couldn’t have done, there is still plenty of time to throw your support behind it on Funded By Me.
