Having just showcased an infographic that discusses the merits of beer Vs coffee and having posted about a coffee brewer yesterday, I think it’s only fair to redress the balance with a post about some beer awesomeness. And I think we’ve found the pinnacle / Holy Grail for any beer loving chap such as us at The Coolector – and this illustrious little fellow goes by the name of Brewbot and no words can describe how much we want it.
We’re by no means accomplished beer brewers here at The Coolector but we’re keen to learn, we just need a Yoda-esque guiding hand to steer us in the right direction and that’s exactly what we’ve got on our hands with the Brewbot. It is the work of the Northern Island based, Cargo, and, in simple terms, it is an eye-catching appliance that brews homemade beer to your own unique specifications, which you can dictate through the use of a smartphone app.
The Brewbot is currently around a third of the way through achieving its target on Kickstarter and, being keen beer aficionados, we here at The Coolector can’t countenance a beer related project not coming to fruition on the famous crowd-funding site. The Brewbot aims to take the notoriously complex and tricky process of brewing beer and making it more simple and accessible and, as an added benefit, they’ve made their device look rather dapper indeed. Check out the little fellow below:
The chaps over at Cargo had this to say about their mightily impressive Brewbot device:
We approached this problem to design and engineer a simple solution. As brewers, we understood what we needed and as a result we have been able to build a product that not only works, but looks great too.
Show your support for the Brewbot at Kickstarter and, in the words of Captain Picard, “Make it so”.
