Robust, Stylish and Versatile
The M1 Wallets are Dango’s final product launch of 2018 and, as you can see, they’ve finished the year off with a bang in what might just be one of their finest wallet launches to date. These effortlessly cool wallets come in a number of different colourways to match your own personal sense of style and to fit in with the other pieces in your EDC and we’re particularly partial to the awesome looking Jet Black colour way for the M1 Maverick Wallet.
As mentioned, the M1 Collection of wallets from Dango come in two different varieties. The M1 Maverick Wallets is billed by Dango themselves as their best wallet yet. This cracking accessory expertly combines CNC machined and anodized 6061 aerospace aluminium with top grain leather to deliver a fine mixture of industrial hardware and plush elegance. The chassis has 4 Loop Holes integrated into each corner to attach keys, lanyards and Tethers. The surface of the M1 chassis is anodised slate grey and available in Jet Black or Whiskey Brown Leather. The M1 Single Pocket Variant Holds up to 8-10 cards maximum + cash, making it ideal for the minimal individual and the bifold is capable of holding between 14-16 cards.
The M1 Special Ops Wallet from Dango is a most accomplished accessory indeed and it is inspired by military, first responders, and hardcore preppers. It is an all new utility vertical wallet with a uncompromising yet sleek design that is crafted for the rugged and tactical lifestyle. This eye-catching wallet is the ideal ally for the everyday survivalist and it combines CNC Machined 6061 aerospace aluminium with Dango’s DTEX material; which is a fine mixture of an industrial “bullet-proof” chassis with a wallet skin that is resilient, flexible and water resistant. The surface of the M1 chassis is ceramic coated with Cerakote – a firearms industry standard ceramic paint tough enough to withstand rough handling.
Unparalleled Functionality
You’ll be hard pressed to find a wallet with more functionality on show than the M1 Special Ops Edition Wallet from Dango and it comes with its pairing high carbon, heat treated stainless steel MT04 Multi-Tool which boasts over 10 functions which are specifically designed to respond to emergency situations. The functions of the multi-tool include: a seat belt cutter, serrated/sharpened edges, chisel, 2 paracord tensioners, an 02 oxygen wrench, nail pryer, standard 1/4” inch hex wrench, and of course, a bottle opener.
Wallets of the calibre of the M1 series from Dango don’t come along everyday and with a price tag and colour way to suit all budgets and tastes, chances are a lot of men are going to be rocking one of these top class accessories in their pocket in 2019 and beyond. We’re big fans of Dango here at Coolector HQ and it’s fair to say that the M1 range might just be our favourite launch to date – just in time for Christmas!
