We’ve written about a fair few luxurious watches on the pages of The Coolector of late so we thought it was about time we featured a watchmaker no less awesome but a good deal more affordable. This brings us nicely onto a watchmaker by the name of Greyhours who we hadn’t heard of previously but boast some mightily impressive minimalist timepieces for those who want a striking, functional and affordable watch for their wrist this summer.
Greyhours are a European watchmaker new to the market but they’ve certainly wasted no time in making an impression with their eye-catching timepieces with an emphasis on minimalism and functionality and the objective of this brilliant brand is to create unique and affordable watches without compromising on the quality of materials used and, if the two watches which they’ve already released to market are anything to go by, they’ve hit the nail firmly on the head.
Their pair of monochrome watches offer both an impressive level of design flair and a technical prowess that belies a watch that is thoroughly at the affordable end of the spectrum (they retail for around £150) and we here at Coolector HQ definitely favour timepieces that quietly go about their business without the need to show off their patent awesomeness and this is something that is certainly applicable to the watches from Greyhours. Check out a couple more shots below:
Each of their industrially designed watches features a 40mm stainless steel case and a IsaSwiss quartz movement so it’s not going to let you down from a performance point of view. There is also a touch of luxury evident with these top notch timepieces too as the straps are made from finely tanned Italian leather and a sapphire crystal glass front. We’re massive fans of this minimalist masterpiece from Greyhours and when you consider it comes in at under £200, it’s all the more impressive.
