Needless to say, and is evidenced by the dozens of times we’ve featured them on the pages of The Coolector, Arkonik are one of our favourite workshops when it comes to Land Rover restoration projects and they’ve hit the high notes once again with their latest creation – the awesome looking Canyon D110 Land Rover Defender. Another adventure-ready machine, the Canyon from Arkonik is one of their most technically impressive and eye-catching builds to date and for anyone with a love of 80’s Defenders, this one will definitely be right up your street.

Arkonik’s latest Defender, the Canyon D110, is destined for Colorado and a lifetime of adventure in what are some of the most mountainous and tricky to traverse terrains in the United States. Built with the sole purpose of transporting its occupants across all-terrain with confidence and comfort, it goes without saying that Arkonik have, once again, gone above and beyond the call of duty in order to make this steed a luxurious yet no nonsense machine that will tackle the most uncompromising of conditions with some considerable aplomb.

LUXURIOUS ON THE INSIDE, ADVENTURE READY ON THE OUTSIDE

Given the intended destination of the Canyon D110 Land Rover Defender from Arkonik, it was inevitably going to need a lot of additional bells and whistles added to it to ensure it didn’t let its occupants down when push comes to shove in the Colorado wilderness. For the exterior of this Defender, Limestone Beige and Java Black coachwork honours the iconic Defender silhouette and sets this station wagon apart from its competition in our opinion here at The Coolector. Loaded with overland equipment from Warn®, Front Runner® and Hella® this Land Rover can literally tame any mountain found in its path.

As always, Arkonik don’t let you down with their interiors and the Canyon D110 Defender positively excels in this department. Vintage Thatch Brown leather graces the interior space of this spectacular steed. The occupants in the front are rewarded with heated sports seats and a Pioneer® touch-screen infotainment system, complete with Apple CarPlay® and a reversing camera display. As we’ve come to expect with an Arkonik adventure truck, this one has been specced to accommodate the whole family with a 2+3+4 configuration meaning lifelong memories can be made together.

Chock full of first class features included with adventure at the forefront of their thinking, Arkonik have definitely pushed the boat out with this one. The Canyon D110 Defender has an array of impressive specifications which includes BFGoodrich® All Terrain T/A KO2 Tires, Arkonik Cellular Dynamic suspension, a WARN® Zeon 12-S winch, a Front Runner® Slimline II roof rack with rear ladder & expedition rail kit and Kahn® Defend 1983 18″ alloy wheels. Another feather to Arkonik’s already many-feathered cap.
