Land Rover builds and customisations are something that we’re always on the hunt for here at Coolector HQ but, truth be told, we always gravitate back to the workshop of Arkonik because their builds truly are amongst the best in the business – something that this PHANTOM D110 Land Rover build is a fine example of.
The Arkonik PHANTOM D110 Land Rover has a rather punchy price tag of $195k but it is positively overflowing with fine features which more than justify this lofty cost. Arkonik describe this stunning steed as being ready to burst into action, emerging from the undergrowth to combat everything in its path. This Orkney Grey apparition is ready to defend, clad in heavy-duty Raptor paintwork which has then been wrapped in a mild steel roll-cage for extra security and robustness.
Born For Adventure On The Open Road
This really isn’t the sort of car that sits in a garage hoping for the occasional outing – the Arkonik PHANTOM D110 Land Rover has adventure pumping through its veins and is ready and waiting to tackle any terrains that you can throw at it. The Terrafirma® suspension will make sure that this Defender is able to navigate high-intensity terrain, coupled with dominating BFGoodrich® All-Terrain tyres and bead-locked Mach 5 wheels that will give you a firm grip on the road.
The Arkonik PHANTOM D110 Land Rover ($195k) has a full spectrum of lighting accessories which have been included in the price to cut through the mist and darkness of any late night adventures you plan to take it on. The Trucklite® LED headlamps, twin DRLs and six Hella® spotlights are fitted to the roof rack and A-bar to make sure this Defender is impossible to ambush and the ultimate in outdoor warriors that takes no prisoners and doesn’t take no for an answer.
With an interior that has to be seen to be believed, the PHANTOM D110 Land Rover is unquestionably one of Arkonik’s most impressive builds to date. Internally it combines black alcantara fluting with nappa leather and suede headlining to deliver an interior which is both sophisticated and practical. Drivers are supported by lock boxes with USB powerpoints, a Pioneer® sound system with Apple CarPlay® and reversing camera.
Worthy Cause
There is an added element to the Arkonik PHANTOM D110 Land Rover that makes it all the more impressive. Namely the fact that it will be used in a very unique way to support Phantom Rescue, which is an organisation that deploys globally to rescue children that have been abducted and sold into the Human Trafficking Industry.
Once the vehicle arrives in a few weeks, it will be outfitted to be air loadable so that is can be transported anywhere in the world to support our mission to locate, rescue and return abducted children, regardless of the terrain, environment or weather conditions. This is a mighty worthy cause and makes this build all the more impressive and rewarding.
