We’re partial to a bit of pong (both ping and digital varieties) here at Coolector HQ but there’s always room to make the table tennis a touch more entertaining and, from a visual point of view, it will be difficult to top these Art of Ping Pong paddles that, admittedly, we missed at the first time of asking as they were originally auctioned off last November to raise money for children in need but, such is their awesomeness, we still wanted to bring them to the attention of Coolector readers.
The Art of Ping Pong project was the work of fivefootsix and a number of the UK’s leading designers and illustrators who were given free reign to do their own doodles and designs to create some eye-catching and imaginative paddles. A great project for a very admirable cause which managed to raise a considerable sum for Children in Need so kudos to all involved – except, perhaps, us here at The Coolector who are a couple of months late in reporting their awesomeness.
