There are few smells that are more conducive to waking up in the morning than freshly brewed coffee and if you want something that wakes you up in the right way, this superb looking Barisieur Alarm Clock is the ideal bedside table ally. This clever piece of design from Joshua Renouf is available in both white and black iterations and is available to pre-order now for the price of £345 which, whilst not cheap, is a small price to pay for freshly brewed coffee every morning.
The Barisieur Coffee Alarm Clock is actually a tea or Coffee Brewing Alarm Clock if we’re being accurate and it boasts glassware that sits on a walnut timber tray on top of a matte black base. The milk vessel cools through a peltier cooler and is activated by an infrared sensor. There is a drawer to store both coffee and tea with an integrated lid and spoon so it has every you need to be woken up by your favourite hot beverage in the morning.
Coffee O’Clock
Coffee is fuel for a lot of people in the morning and having a cup of your favourite caffeine waiting for you when you wake will certainly help to get the day off to a good start. The Barisieur Coffee Alarm Clock is a premium alarm clock that gently eases you into your morning routine with the soothing sounds of bubbling water along with the smell of the freshly brewed coffee or loose leaf tea – starts to the day just don’t come much better than that.
The Barisieur Coffee Alarm Clock takes its design inspiration from a combination of the contemporary ritual of filter coffee with the iconic vinyl record player, and encourages a nostalgic experience for the user. The design was born with a digital detox in mind, where the design language balances between simplicity and mystified alchemy. The device lets you watch how the water magically transports from one vessel to other due to steam pressure and will definitely help you wake up in the morning with the smell of fresh coffee filtering through the room.
This cleverly designed device has a standard alarm to wake you up up in the morning, which you can turn the volume up and down for and the water boils in 3-5 mins and pours over the coffee or tea at optimum temperature of 94C. It is available in 24hr and 12 hr clock version so you can choose the one with a time display that you’re more familiar with. The clock display automatically dims at night-time so it won’t keep you up but will be ready and waiting with a delicious cup of coffee when it is time to wake up in the morning.
Delicious Design
It is clear that a lot of design detail has gone into the creation of this Barisieur Coffee Alarm Clock from Joshua Renouf and for those with a love of understated, minimalistic design, it will fit in perfectly with your own interior design endeavours. Whilst the price tag of £345 is quite a punchy one for an alarm clock, it’s not every day that you find one that will make you a cup of your favourite coffee in the morning so it is money well spent in our opinion here at Coolector HQ.
If you love a great cup of coffee in the morning to help put that spring in your step, you’ll get exactly that with this Barisieur Coffee Alarm Clock. Great design coupled with genuinely innovative features really make this device stand out from the competition and it’s easy to see why so many caffeine aficionados have been adding this to their side tables and making it part of their morning routines.
