Beacon Bicycle Headlamp

If you’re rocking a bike that has a certain vintage appeal, you’ll want to invest in accessories that fit in with this aesthetic and, so far as lighting is concerned, this awesome looking Beacon Bicycle Headlamp will be tough to beat. Funding over on Kickstarter now, this old school cool bit of kit will add a touch of class to any bike and, crucially, will light the road in front of you to make cycling in low light conditions that bit safer. Win, win.

Available for the bargain price of just £125 during the Kickstarter campaign, the Beacon Bicycle Headlamp has flown past its funding target which just goes to show that there are plenty of cyclists out there after exactly this sort of cool lighting for their back – us included here at The Coolector. This is a beautiful rechargeable headlamp that is purpose built for classic road bikes and crafted for the modern day rider. It mounts directly in the centre of your handlebars to bring your bicycle to life. The first batch of Beacon Headlamps is already manufactured and ready to send but you’ll have to be quick to secure one during Kickstarter, as they are limited.

LET THERE BE LIGHT

The Beacon Headlamp on Kickstarter has an ultra-wide beam angle to make sure you can see everything out on the open road and not just a little pool of light a few yards ahead of your front wheel. This impressively designed and visually superior headlamp has up to 400 lumens and USB charging, which makes it as functional as it is beautiful. What is more, the beam dissipates at a distance so as not to blind oncoming traffic. Clever stuff indeed.

Brilliantly vintage from a visual perspective, we’re loving the Beacon Bicycle Headlamp (£125) here at Coolector HQ and we’re not at all surprised it has gone over so well with cycling aficionados over on Kickstarter as well. Special attention has been paid to the colour temperature of the Beacon Headlamp and a warm white of 4,000K has been used as this is much easier on the eyes and won’t blind you when encountering it head on.

Key components of the Beacon such as the battery or switch, can be replaced as they age over time. It can also be fully disassembled with simple tools. The main body of the headlamp is machined from solid aluminium and plated for an effortlessly elegant aesthetic which will add a real touch of class to the overall look and feel of your bike. If you’re looking for the ideal lighting solution for a cool looking bike, the Beacon Headlamp on Kickstarter ticks all of our boxes here at The Coolector.
