French watchmakers, Charlie Paris, have long been on our radar here at The Coolector and they’ve definitely got some of the coolest looking watches on the market in our humble opinion. One of their latest releases – the Concordia GMT Watch – is unquestionably one of their finest timepieces to date and if you’re on the hunt for an adventure-ready timepiece this autumn, this stunner is definitely going to be ticking all of the right boxes.
The Charlie Paris Concordia GMT Watch will be available for the bargain pre-order price of 1195 Euros before going up to its full retail price of 1375 Euros so make sure you move quickly if you want to secure a bargain price on this devilishly dapper timepiece from the highly-regarded French watch brand. The Concordia series from Charlie Paris has been a popular collection since the adventurer Matthieu Tordeur wore it on his solo crossing of Antarctica in 2018. The watch was purpose-built to withstand the extreme conditions of the journey and it has since become a favourite among adventurers and explorers. And for good reason.
Built for the adrenaline-inclined, the Concordia GMT Watch is water-resistant to 300 meters and boasts a Swiss Soprod C125 calibre movement with an impressive 40-hour power reserve. The classy timepiece is made using 316L steel and has a 40mm diameter and 12.5mm thickness that sits perfectly on the wrist and will turn heads and draw admiring glances everywhere you go. In addition, it has a unidirectional rotating bezel, eloxed aluminium insert, hour scale, and a special symbol at 12 o’clock with Super-LumiNova® to ensure visibility in low-light conditions.
The caseback on the Concordia GMT is screw-down and transparent, which is great because it does an excellent job of revealing the intricate movement, whose weight is signed Charlie Paris. The glass is domed sapphire, anti-reflective, and 3mm thick adding that extra bit of resilience to proceedings which is important for a watch geared towards outdoor adventures. The crown is screw-down (30ATM) with eloxed aluminium insert. A red insert on the stem indicates if the crown is properly screwed in. Love no-nonsense timepieces that hit the mark from an aesthetic perspective? The Concordia GMT will be right up your street.
