Heading out onto a canal, river or reservoir aboard a little boat is something that very much appeals to our sensibilities here at Coolector HQ and, as tech lovers, we will definitely want a gadgety edge to any vessel that we head out onto the waters with and that’s why we’ve been left thoroughly impressed with this cracking Auto Boat by Featuring & Featuring.

Made in conjunction with boat builder, Will Reid, and programmer Jonas Jongejan, Featuring & Featuring, a London based creative agency, the Auto Boat is a single passenger vessel that can be controlled via your smartphone, so you can sit back and chill with your craft beers and steer the boat with the touch of a button.

Crafted from marine ply and veneered with American cherry, which was picked out for the aesthetic appeal and strength to weight ratio, the Auto Boat by Featuring & Featuring is just the sort of contraption that will tempt us out onto the water.
