Grand Chamaco Halloween Characters

Grand Chamaco is a Mexican illustrator, artist and graphic designer with a real penchant for creating eye-catching visuals such as is witnessed with this spectacular collection of Halloween characters. The talented artist held the dream of working as an apprentice to the Mexican artist, Arturo Rivera, but alas this was not to be but Rivera’s loss is our gain because Grand Chamaco returned to his home town and began to hone his craft and now creates the bold, vibrant artistic pieces you see before you.

Fright Night

This fantastic interpretation of some of Grand Chamaco’s favourite horror movie characters is certainly right up our street here at Coolector HQ and if you’ve got a love for some the classic scare movies of the last thirty years or so then you’re definitely going to be in your element here as well. Designed with a real attention to little details and with a really eye-catching, cartoony aesthetic that adds a great look to these iconic horror characters and presents them in a way that you won’t have seen before.

With the likes of Leatherface, Nosferatu, Jason Vorhees and the zombies from Michael Jackson’s Thriller all coming under Grand Chamaco’s creative purview, there are plenty of awesome designs to be appreciated here. Horror movies are probably our favourite genre here at Coolector HQ and we love seeing iconic characters from these movies being represented in new, interesting and engaging ways – which is definitely what Grand Chamaco has achieved with this magnificent line up of horror designs. Our favourite one is probably the brilliantly realised recreation of Pennywise the Clown from Stephen King’s IT novel and it’s certainly got more of Tim Curry vibe than a Bill Skarsgard one and that’s alright by us.

There is something about horror movie characters which, of course, makes them live longer in the memory and become pop culture icons and Grand Chamaco has captured some of our favourite bad guys in this visually vibrant collection of Halloween character designs.
