EDC specialists, the James Brand, are a favourite of ours here at The Coolector and their Ellis pocket knife has long been one of their most impressive and popular products. Well, they’ve just updated it to a new streamlined model – the Ellis Slim – which will ensure that any pocket clutter is kept to a minimum if you add this to your everyday carry collection.
With prices starting at just $99, the Ellis Slim Pocket Knife is great value for money and adds an extra layer of versatility to your EDC lineup. Available in three different colourways – including our favourite Coyote Tan and Black – this impressive bit of kit from the James Brand is thinner than a pack of gum and the newest member of the Ellis and Elko family of slip-joint pocket knives. After a small but perfectly formed pocket knife this spring/summer? This is the one for you.
The Ellis Slim keeps the same overall design aesthetic as James Brand’s traditional Ellis offering but they’ve ditched the scissors in an effort to make the slimmest and simplest Ellis achievable. The Ellis Slim is available in both straight-bladed and serrated versions, and comes with either G10 or aluminium scales (handles).
This top-notch pocket knife boasts the same Swedish Sandvik 12C27 steel that the James Brand feature on the standard Ellis and Elko, and comes with a deep-carry wire clip as well as the brand’s All-Things® scraper, flat-head screwdriver and pry bar. If you’re looking for truly minimal daily carry look no further than the Ellis Slim.
