J&B Tattooed Whisky

Though we have no tattoos nor can easily stomach whisky here at Coolector HQ, we’ve fallen inexplicably and inexorably in love with this limited edition Tattooed Whisky by J&B. The video above does a good job of explaining why.

We’ve got a lot of respect for those with a tattooing talent and whilst most choose skin as their canvas, these brilliantly tattooed J&B whisky bottles take things to a whole new level of awesomeness. They are the work of French tattoo artist, Le Sphinx, who has really bought the whisky bottles to life with his excellent and elaborate designs.

In order to carry out these superb looking tattoos, Le Sphinx covered the bottles in a latex skin which is what tattoo artists use to practice tattoos when they first start out in the industry. As you can patently see Le Sphinx is no beginner and his designs are nothing short of exemplary. Check them out below:

So, if you’ve got a taste for tattoos and an affinity for whisky then you’ll be in dreamland with this Tattooed Whisky from J&B. We here at The Coolector are mightily impressed with the visual appeal and skilled designs by Le Sphinx but we’re not quite sure that the obvious awesomeness of the tattoos will be sufficient to help us overcome our pervading dislike of spirits. It’ll come close though.
