If you work in an office, chances are it’s pretty boring. And even if it’s not, it could probably do with jazzing up a bit, especially in the meeting room and, for that reason, you should probably be sending this article in the direction of your boss because the King Arthur Round Swing Table from London based designers, Duffy, should certainly be residing in every office given its obvious levels of awesomeness.
Based upon the George Bernard Shaw quote of “‘We don’t stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing,” this table is designed for fun and interaction in mind and this is an objective that looks like it has been well and truly accomplished with the finished product. Available in 8 seat and 12 seat iterations, this eye-catching table is also designed using your choice of materials – these being walnut and white birch – and you can choose whether or not you want your King Arthur Round Swing Table to have geo-shade or not.
It is certainly one of the most striking pieces of office furniture we’ve encountered here at The Coolector and though we can’t really justify the £8k+ price tag, we’d definitely like to have one in our headquarters and the images below do a pretty spiffing job of explaining why:
Whilst it might not be the most functional of seating arrangements for a meeting room given the amount of space it takes up, it will definitely be one of the coolest and if you’ve a workspace with the requisite dimensions to facilitate such an awesome piece of furniture, it would be folly not to make use of it. Extremely well designed and impeccably crafted by London’s Duffy, this is certainly one piece of eye-catching design that ticks all the right boxes from an aesthetic point of view and we’d love to have one of these at Coolector HQ.
