Custom motorbikes are something that we’ve got an awful lot of time for here at Coolector HQ and though we’re not exactly petrolheads, we can appreciate amazing design and customisation work and few do this better than German workshop, Kingston Customs, and you can appreciate this fact with this stunning feat of engineering that goes by the name of the White Phantom Motorbike.
The White Phantom Motorbike from Kingston Customs is the handiwork of Dirk Oehlerking and for those that appreciate quirky, eye-catching customisation jobs, you’ll be in your absolute element here. This cracking contraption really is a sight to behold and does a phenomenal job of showcasing his love of making motorbikes his own from an aesthetic point of view and we’re pretty sure you won’t see many bikes more jaw dropping than this any time soon.
From Humble Beginnings
When you first lay eyes on this White Phantom Motorbike from Kingston Customs you’ll perhaps find it hard to believe that the finished product stemmed from an unremarkable but steadfast BMW R80RT donor bike to become the glorious machine that you now see before you. Boasting a 798cc boxer engine that packs quite a punch and a single, horizontally mounted, turbo which is spooled-up by a short pair of headers, this breathtaking machine rides almost as fantastically as it looks visually.
The Kingston Customs White Phantom Motorbike is a vintage looking piece of stunning minimalist design which is almost unrecognisable from the bike on which the customisation project began. Luxurious and impeccably well crafted, this first rate steed will turn heads everywhere you go and we’re loving the sheer attention to detail that has gone into every element of its crafting.
A lot of effort has gone into ramping up the performance of the new and improved machine and the White Phantom from Kingston Customs has a fairly simple frame structure that helps improve the performance of the bike and it offers a striking shield which has been coated with a composite material which is commonly used in Formula 1 in order to prevent wires from melting and float bowls boiling and the end result is a contraption that is unparalleled from a visual point of view.
Brilliant Design
Oehlerking clearly knows what he’s doing when it comes to customising motorbikes as the White Phantom is merely one in a long line of awesome looking machines and for those with a thing for vintage, cafe racer style bikes, you’re not going to find many rides more extraordinary than this one from German workshop, Kingston Customs.
The industrial look and feel of the finish is the real feather in the cap of this customisation job in our opinion here at The Coolector and the White Phantom is undoubtedly one of the coolest looking and painstakingly crafted bikes we’ve come across in some time and we can’t wait to see what Dirk Oehlerking comes up with next.
