When you envisage a Lamborghini in your head, we’re willing to wage that it will look an awful lot like this Lamborghini Countach 25 Anniversario which is up for sale with luxury car experts, Schaltkulisse. Manufactured in 1989, this one might not be as “classic” as many of the cars we feature on the pages of The Coolector but it is certainly no less jaw-dropping and wallet bursting (with a price tag of some €349k).
This beautiful Lamborghini Countach 25 Anniversario from Schaltkulisse is billed as one of the most important models in automotive history. In addition to its breathtaking performance at the time, the Countach is now, more than ever, a design classic and heavily sought after in car collecting circles. While the earliest Countach in 1974 looked almost nimble, the final edition named 25 Anniversary, prefers to show its unparalleled power with various spoilers, wider tires and an overall more masculine appearance.
Pedal to the Metal
In total, around 657 vehicles were manufactured in Sant ’Agata Bolognes so you’ll be in rare company if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on this majestic looking machine. With the displacement increased to just under 5.2 litres over the entire construction period, the final version of the Countach has an output of 455 horsepower which is mighty impressive. So it managed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in under 5 seconds and was just about able to hit the magic 300 km/h mark.
The Lamborghini Countach 25 Anniversario from Schaltkulisse was delivered on July 28th, 1989 in Germany as new and it looks practically as good as the day it rolled out of the workshop now. The first and last owner managed to drive 4,561km during his 31 years of ownership. The first service in 1990 was carried out by Auto König in Munich and the final inspection in 2017 at 4,349km was also done in Munich at Lamborghini.
Fortunately, the car has enjoyed dry and properly tempered storage which speaks to why it is in such remarkable condition today. You can see the benefits and importance of storing the car in a professional way as it now presents in a stunning, original and perfect condition at the same time. It will be hard to find an equivalent Countach in the same quality condition as this one. The paint shows the fine carbon structure, and the interior is almost untouched as are all other details, such as the seals and fittings which are practically in the condition there were back in 1989.
Completely Damage Free
The car has never had any damage to it, repainting or even an accident so you’ll be getting something as good as new with this glorious looking Lamborghini. It is certainly one of the best Countach in terms of quality and has had just one German previous owner, with 4,561km from new and a perfect condition turn this Anniversary into something not to miss.
Whether inspired by purchasing an emotional investment or just saying you own this iconic machine, buying the best possible example should always be the focus and to say the least, an absolutely outstanding example which is ready and waiting for its new owner. Safe to say, given its price tag, it won’t be us.
