It’s always sad when a prestigious watchmaker falls by the wayside and goes out of production and, on the flip side of the coin, it’s deeply heartening to see one rise from the ashes to return to their former glory. Once again Kickstarter has proven the catalyst for this and the timepiece in question is the Lebois & Co Avantgarde Date Watch.
Following on from an original successful Kickstarter campaign to bring the brand back to life, this is the second offering from Lebois & Co and well and truly signals their return to the watchmaking arena after their demise back in 1972. This extraordinarily stylish wristwatch is a high end offering for Kickstarter but the quality shines through and positively speaks for itself.
The Lebois & Co Avantgarde Date Watch will be limited to just 100 pieces and it is this type of exclusivity that sets it apart and will likely appeal to the watch aficionados out there. This stylish looking offering is a 40mm timepiece in stainless steel and a Swiss mechanical automatic movement made by ETA with “Swiss Made” authenticity. Take a look at a few more shots of it in action below:
Painfully stylish and aesthetically superior, the Lebois & Co Avantgarde Date Watch ticks all of our sartorial boxes here at Coolector HQ and boasts an abundance of eye-catching features that justify the price (which is a bit of a bargain on Kickstarter).
Some of the most striking characteristics of this excellent looking watch include a genuine blue Louisiana Alligator strap, Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement, 38 hour power reserve and sapphire crystal glass case. A stunning timepiece and one that thoroughly deserves your support over on Kickstarter.
