Needless to say, any contraption built for use on water needs to be made of sturdy stuff and the Manta5 Hydrofoiler XE-1 certainly is. It has carbon fibre hydrofoils that are as strong as steel and crafted by aeronautical engineers for optimised lift, and drag reduction. These are joined by a carbon fibre reinforced nylon propellor to the rear that delivers the perfect balance and produces thrust at low speed and drag reduction at top speed.
If you’ve grown weary of the current raft of water sports available and want to try your hand at something new, the Manta5 Hydrofoiler XE-1 could well be the perfect thing for you. Lamentably, currently only available for pre-orders in New Zealand but we’re sure that there will be a much larger roll out when people clamour to get their hands on these awesome looking machines the world over.
