Scandinavian watchmaking has positively exploded in the last few years and some of our favourite watchmakers here at Coolector HQ now herald from the likes of Sweden, Finland and Denmark and you can count Stockholm-based, Nezumi, chief amongst them. Their latest timepiece release, the awesome-looking Kozō Chronograph, is one of their most impressive and stylish to date and for any man seeking an adventure-ready, classy timepiece that doesn’t break the bank, the Kozō will definitely tick all the right boxes.
The Nezumi Kozō Chronograph Watch has a decidedly wallet-friendly price tag of just $323 and each one is assembled in Germany and it is limited to just 300 watches so you’ll definitely need to get your skates on if you want to add this eye-catching chronograph to your collection of timepieces. It has an all-brushed 40mm case with a fixed bezel and this devilishly dapper timepiece is powered by the robust and reliable Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz movement so it won’t let you down when push comes to shove.
Stylish and affordable, we’re big fans of the Kozō Chronograph here at The Coolector and it’s not hard to see why it is already flying off the shelves. It is sold exclusively on Nezumi’s indigo blue canvas strap that the watch brand developed using recycled ocean plastics and apple pomace discarded by the Italian beverage industry so it’s the sort of eco-friendly timepiece that you can feel good about wearing – something which heightens its appeal still further. With a design aesthetic heavily inspired by Japanese culture and the brand’s history working with denim goods, it’s hard not to love the visual impact of the Kozō.
The triple-coloured dial of the Kozō Chronograph boasts a deep indigo blue that is surrounded by an off-white chapter ring with red markings and lume dots for each hour – a colour combination that immediately draws the eye and is guaranteed to turn heads everywhere you go. The sub-registers at 3 and 9 are an off-white colour and the red 6 o’clock running seconds dial resembles the Japanese national flag. The index and lumed hour and minute hands are brushed steel, the sub-register hands are dark blue and the chronograph hand is bright red. The case is made of brushed 316l stainless steel and features a tachymeter scale on the fixed bezel. If you want a classy watch on your wrist for under $500 this fall, the Kozō Chronograph gets our vote here at The Coolector.
