We love a good quality digital watch here at The Coolector and, to be honest, we’ve not seen any that are better than the superb looking Nixon Heat Watch. If you’re after the ultimate in adventure-ready timepieces this summer, bring the Heat – it won’t let you down. This retro-looking offering from Nixon is a slim superstar with a singular goal: namely, making a low-profile watch for timed sports that can stand up to the most punishing weather and activity conditions.
The Nixon Heat Watch has a price tag of $150 which is a small price to pay for a watch that can keep pace with pretty much any activity or sport you’ve got on the agenda this summer. The Heat Watch is a favourite training tool of two-time world champion surfer John John Florence as it boasts multiple timer options, a rugged but thin 8mm case design, and a sporty, breathable strap. From sets in the gym or the water, laps in the pool or the track, the Heat is on.
Sporty & Stylish
Engineered for a streamlined profile with an unbeatable performance, the Heat’s custom LCD module and timer options provide athletes with an impressive functionality cased within a featherweight design. Along with a 20mm injection moulded rubber band with a perforated design which ensures a robust performance, breathability and comfort. The Heat also features Nixon’s new double locking looper system.
The Nixon Heat Watch ($150) has a custom digital LCD module and its primary functions include time of day, day/date with auto-calendar through 2099, chronograph, pre-set timers and custom timer setting options with a 60 second “SEND” notification, and EL backlight which can be activated in any mode by pressing both pushers simultaneously.
It has a 38mm custom ultra-thin 8mm stainless steel case and pushers with hardened mineral crystal to help protect against the inevitable bumps and scrapes of competitive sport and the “Final Countdown” timer has a 60 second “SEND” notification to push you through the finish line – something we could all do with from time to time. This watch is perfect for the adrenaline junkies out there and boasts a super cool retro aesthetic we’re loving here at The Coolector.
