The deluge of smartwatches onto the market has well and truly begun in earnest now and whilst many will not make the cut, there are few with a pedigree quite as impressive as the latest to come into our purview here at Coolector HQ – the spectacular looking Olio Smartwatch. What sets this apart, we hear you say? Well, permit us to explain. The Olio Smartwatch has a team working upon it who have mightily impressive backgrounds having worked at the likes of Pixar, Apple, Beats, Movado and even NASA. Impressed? Us too.
The Olio Smartwatch has something very obvious going for it right from the get-go – namely, the fact that it looks fantastic. But it doesn’t rest on its attractive laurels and also boasts plenty of capabilities beneath the hood that will see it rival other smartwatches on the market and, from a purely aesthetic point of view, it’s one of our favourites to date here at Coolector HQ. The Olio Smartwatch has a stainless steel casing and looks much more like a tradition timepiece than most other smartwatches and this is definitely a positive in our book and beneath this exterior beats some thoroughly impressive technological capabilities as well.
A notification centre that reveals your appointments, meetings and events in a novel way (categorising them as Earlier and Later) and capable of dealing with incoming calls via its Bluetooth connectivity, the Olio Smartwatch has all the makings of a classic and we can’t wait for it to hit the market here at The Coolector. Check out some more shots of the smartwatch that you’re probably going to want on your wrist below:

As smartwatches go, this is definitely amongst the best we’ve seen here at The Coolector and if you’ve liked what you’ve seen of the Olio Smartwatch, you should probably be prepared to move fast because it will be limited to just 500 in the first production run. We’re still sitting on the fence as to whether we will be getting a smartwatch here at Coolector HQ but the Olio just gave us quite a nudge towards the affirmative.
