The Origin Tree House from Atelier LAVIT is unquestionably one of the coolest looking and fantastically crafted tree houses you will ever have seen and it doesn’t just look great, it has a mighty impressive level of functionality and an interior aesthetic that is off the charts. If you love the thought of relaxing and unwinding amongst the tree dwelling fraternity of birds, squirrels et al, this cracking piece of design will be right up your street.

Designed as a hotel room, you’ll be able to stay in the Origin Tree House from Atelier LAVIT and when you first step foot inside, you won’t want to leave again because it is so relaxing and rejuvenating being in such a serene space. The Atelier LAVIT designed Origin Tree House is a breathtaking cabin, and a bespoke, innovative and tailor-made project for Cabanes Nature et Spa. The architectural challenge that was set out for Atelier LAVIT was to deliver a highly functional, versatile and comfortable hotel room whilst also remaining faithful to the first design inspiration of the project: namely, a bird-nest. And, as you can see, it’s mission well and truly accomplished.

We love hotel stays that are unique in nature here at The Coolector and residing up amongst the tree tops is about as unique and unusual as it can get and that’s why we’re in little doubt there will be a long waiting list of people looking to book a stay in the Origin Tree House. The design of the space, combined with the construction techniques that were used, led to a rationalization of the assembly logic of the branches collected by the birds to create their impregnable shelters and the finished product is a visual spectacle to say the least.

A Stay To Remember

Heading on holiday is all about creating memories that last a lifetime and, it’s safe to say, a stay in the Origin Tree House is not one that would be soon forgotten. Measuring 23sqm and many striking interior features (such as a tree trunk thrusting through the central atrium of the space), you’ll not soon forget your stay here and we’re sure that it will be just about as relaxing as it gets to be sleeping amongst nature’s tree dweller.

Brilliant design and vision from Atelier LAVIT, this amazing construct has definitely caught our eye here at The Coolector and for those of you with a love of things that dare to be different, this surely fits the bill. Eye-catching in the extreme and impeccable to look at both inside and out, this hotel room has certainly forced its way onto our own travel bucket list.
