LEGO is a pretty sweet design all things being told and why it isn’t used in more great little accessories is beyond us here at Coolector HQ and it comes as no surprise that its the brains over at NotCot Labs that have knocked one out of the ballpark with their ace looking Plant Experiment #1 which is available through their recently launched online store.
Plant Experiment #1 is somewhat of a godsend for those of us who want to ramp up the awesomeness of our creative workspace and it is an extremely limited edition offering that consists of a trio of walnut planters that have been CNC milled in Los Angeles by Shawn Sims and Jean Aw at NotLabs.
Needless to say, a love of LEGO fuelled the design process of the Plant Experiment #1 and for other like minded chaps, there won’t be a better choice of desk buddy out there than this. Check out a few more shots of the great looking piece in action below:
Boasting LEGO compatibility that will allow you to bust out your favourite mini-figs (such as the Breaking Bad set perhaps), this superb little accessory is sure to sell fast so if you want to make your workspace a good deal more awesome, you’ll need to move quickly.
Each one of the walnut constructs has a drainage hole that will keep your choice of plant fit and healthy and we dare say there will be some pretty elaborate LEGO creations using NotLab’s Plant Experiment #1 as their foundation. Great looking, versatile and extremely functional, we’re wondering how we’ve hitherto done without one of these here at Coolector HQ.
