Raising Geometry by Cascade Studio

Following on from the rather eye-catching DIY glow in the dark shelves we featured recently we have an equally as impressive and aesthetically unusual addition to your interior design endeavours in the shape of this brilliant design project entitled Raising Geometry by Cascade Studios. If you’re after a bold, striking and painfully cool focal point for any room in the home, Raising Geometry might just be the thing for you.

Cascade Studios are a contemporary design and manufacturing studio based in London and Paris and Raising Geometry is the first piece that they have released and, if they start as they mean to go on, then we’re in for a whole host of other awesome products from these patently skilled designers. The objective of this team of designers is to produce limited edition pieces of furniture, lighting and decorative art and this Raising Geometry piece immediately caught our eye here at Coolector HQ.

Raising Geometry consists of three fully functional mirrors that have been jazzed up considerably with electricity that transforms them into the superbly striking light sculptures you see before you. It combines natural wood, glass and light and is heavily influenced by mid-century designs and there is no denying that it would make a fantastic feature piece in any home or office – check out a few more shots below:

We’re big fans of vibrant and unusual pieces of artwork here at Coolector HQ and Raising Geometry is right up our street. Cascade Studio are newcomers to the industrial design market but if this top notch piece is anything to go by, they are definitely one to keep an eye on.
