Rite in the Rain Mechanical Pencils

The pen is, as they say, mightier than the sword but we’re willing to wager that these brilliant looking Rite in the Rain Mechanical Pencils are tougher than them both. Lamentably, we don’t use pencils (or indeed pens) as much as we once would have done here at Coolector HQ but for those types who want an uber-tough, woodsmen-esque pencil that can withstand any outdoor rigours you throw in its direction, the Rite in the Rain Mechanical Pencil is the ideal candidate.

All the products from Rite in the Rain are USA made and their story is nearly a century old and is born from when an entrepreneur by the name of Jerry Darling noted there was no resilient writing tool for those working in the logging industry and set about creating something that can stand up to the inclement weather conditions invariably faced by loggers. Fast forward a hundred years or so and you have these really rather spiffing Rite in the Rain Mechanical Pencils which do exactly what they say on the tin i.e. write in the rain. Normally we wouldn’t necessarily see a pencil as a cool item but it’s impossible to argue against these striking ones from Rite in the Rain which are hardy souls indeed and can make a mockery of even the most inclement of weather conditions. If you work in an industry where your outdoors a lot and have grown weary of writing tools letting you down, a glance in the direction of these fantastic implements will likely stand you in good stead.
