Whilst, given the sweltering temperatures around Coolector HQ over the last few days, a hot tub might now be at the forefront of our thinking right now, there is no doubting that we wouldn’t say no to such a piece of kit and this is especially true when it looks as excellent as this Soak Outdoor Wood Fired Hot Tub by Ox and Monkey.
The Soak Outdoor Wood Fired Hot Tub is a two-person construct and is inspired by the sleek lines and healing properties of the Japanese Ofuro soaking tub. The design takes its lead from Bauhaus and it looks to be a mightily relaxing means to spend some time in the great outdoors.
With relaxation at its core, the Soak Outdoor Wood Fired Hot Tub is a superb piece of design which, as the name suggests, is heated through the heating of wood and boasts an eye-catching marine grade aluminum body with locally sourced Red Cedar and stainless steel stove pipe. Take a look at a few more shots below:
There’s no denying that an outdoor, wood fired hot tub isn’t exactly one of the most practical accessories out there, it is one that would sure be nice to have and when it’s as well designed and industrially cool looking as this one from Ox and Monkey, it’s nigh on impossible not to want one.
