Though Super Mario looks all sweetness and light, a fire rages within him and he’s been waging war against his foes for many a year now – or so these exceptional Super Mario Propaganda Posters from Los Angeles based graphic designer, Fernando Reza. He has got a rather impressive back catalogue of work which includes designs for the likes of the Huffington Post and Men’s Health, so we here at The Coolector aren’t surprised by the awesomeness of these prints and craving them pretty bad to decorate our HQ.
The Mario Propaganda Series of artwork is one of Reza’s most recent and, in our humble opinion, one of his best. Inspired by the sort of propaganda posters that did the rounds during WWII to promote fear and support in equal measure, this brilliant take on the subject matter with the Mario twist is definitely the sort of quirky design that The Coolector is a big fan of. Each of the prints, which are all available for purchase, are individually signed and numbered and will be limited to a mere 150 per piece – so don’t hang around if you want to show your support for the Mario war movement.
Price – $30-150 – Available @ Fro Design Company.
