True Detective Season 2

True Detective was unquestionably one of our televisual highlights of 2014 here at Coolector HQ and whilst we knew from the outset that each new series of the show would likely feature a different set of detectives, it didn’t stop us mourning the loss of Mcconaughey and Harrelson but, if the brief teaser of season 2 is anything to go by, we needn’t have been concerned because it looks all sorts of awesome.

True Detective Season 2 stars Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn, admirably supported by the likes of Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch, and the action is supplanted to Los Angeles this time. Though the trailer above clocks in a just over a minute, it already does plenty to get excitement levels high about the next instalment of Nic Pizzolatto fantastic creation.

The new season is set for release on 21st June and whilst that might seem like an upsettingly long time to wait, we can at least console ourselves with the fact that it is looking so great and we here at Coolector HQ definitely can’t wait to start binge watching the next series when it hits HBO in summer.
