We love the understated design and simplicity, coupled with robust adventure ready performance that field watches tend to offer and, truth be told, we’ve seen few we would like on our wrist more than this ace looking Weiss x Tanner Goods 38mm Limited Issue Field Watch. Devilishly dapper and with the sort of muted aesthetic we love, this classy looking timepiece from two of our favourite brands is being released in super limited numbers so move fast if you like what you see.
Priced at $1600, the Weiss x Tanner Goods 38mm Limited Issue Field Watch is a limited collaboration that consists of a mere 30 timepieces in a closed series with Tanner Goods. This sporty upgrade to the watchmaker’s classic Latte colour boasts a unique design with dial-matched lume on the indices as well as the hands. It comes on a black custom Horween Shell Cordovan strap that has been handcrafted by the incredible team at Tanner Goods. These are the only latte dials that will glow in the dark.
DEVILISHLY DAPPER DESIGN
Directly inspired by Cameron Weiss’ dives into the Pacific Ocean and quests through the Sierra Nevadas, this timeless and supremely elegant yet adventure ready timepiece defies the elements and withstands the test of time – trust us – it’s not going to let you down wherever your travels take you in 2022 and beyond. Produced by hand with over 100 Swiss parts, the Weiss x Tanner Goods 38mm Limited Issue Field Watch is bound to become a trusted heirloom that you pass from one generation to the next.
For the team at Weiss, staying true to our roots is key for this release. And when they created the Weiss x Tanner Goods 38MM Standard Issue Field Watch ($1600), they definitely kept that in mind. They have incorporated details like luminescent Super-Luminova paint that looks as clear in the dark as it does in the light, and naval brass dials for a luxurious-yet-artisanal finish. Hand-polished surgical grade 316L stainless steel and sapphire crystals add an elevated finish.
This fantastic, limited edition release is chock full of fine features which belie its affordable price tag and includes a Weiss Watch Company Caliber 1005 mechanical movement, 7001 base, finished and assembled by hand, sapphire crystal and 316L stainless steel exhibition caseback, secured by four 316L stainless steel hex screws, black oxide hands with custom dial-matched Super-Luminova paint, 100m water resistance and each timepiece comes with one hand-stitched custom Tanner Goods Horween Black Shell Cordovan Strap with Black Stitching.
