Limited Edition Luxury
You’ll not see many classier timepieces for your wrist in 2021 than this limited edition collaboration from two our favourite brands at The Coolector – Worn & Wound and Yema. This exemplary offering showcases the French watchmaker’s love of innovation. Their innovative nature set Yema apart from their competitors, and cemented the Superman’s significance in the history of the dive watch.
This Yema x Worn & Wound Limited Edition Superman Maxi Dial Watch ($990) is a devilishly dapper release that will be a worthy addition to any man’s line up of luxury timepieces. There have been many versions of the Superman over the years, including the Superman II, which delivered some of the largest dive markers to ever grace a dial, earning it the “maxi” designation. Quirky, yet strangely appealing, it’s this timepiece that served as the main inspiration for the Yema x Worn & Wound collaboration.
This is the flagship collaboration between Worn & Wound and Yema and they’ve clearly hit a home run right off the bat. The Supeman Maxi Dial Limited Edition mixes a traditional diver aesthetic with rugged, military-influenced detailing. Taking inspiration from the oversized markers of the Superman II, this collab has a highly legible dial with a bold, aggressive attitude. The 39mm, 300m Superman case has been fit with an edge-to-edge black bezel with fully lumed 12-hour scale, and still boasts Yema’s signature locking mechanism. Powering the LE is Yema’s new YEMA2000 in-house caliber, guaranteeing effortlessly accurate time keeping day in, day out.
